The OTTY Original Luxury Hybrid Mattress combines pocket springs and memory foam for a balanced feel. Its medium-firm support suits most sleepers, especially those who switch between side and back positions. The springs provide bounce and spinal alignment, while the foam layers cushion joints and reduce pressure points.
This hybrid setup minimises motion transfer, so you won’t feel your partner tossing and turning. A heat-regulating memory foam layer keeps you cool, with an airflow system that circulates fresh air through perforations.
The removable, washable cover, made from a soft polyester-spandex blend, adds hygiene and durability, perfect for allergy sufferers.
What sets this mattress apart is its thoughtful engineering. Up to 2000 encapsulated pocket springs offer robust support, while the foam layers adapt to your body without feeling suffocating. Testers found it supportive yet cushioned, with good edge support for using the full surface.
It arrives vacuum-packed in a recyclable box, expanding quickly for use within hours. A 100-night trial lets you test it at home, and a 10-year warranty ensures long-term reliability.
Customer reviews on the OTTY website and Amazon highlight its strengths and quirks. Many praise the comfort and support, with one user saying it improved their sleep quality from 60-70% to 95-100% after a few weeks.
Back pain sufferers often note relief, especially for side and back sleepers. However, some found it too firm initially, taking a month to adjust, particularly if used to softer beds.
A few mentioned a slight latex smell for the first week, though it fades. Others wished for side handles to make rotating easier, but most agree the quality justifies the cost compared to rivals.
This mattress isn’t perfect for everyone. Stomach sleepers might find it too firm, and very lightweight or heavier individuals may need a different model. Yet, for most, it strikes a great balance of firmness and comfort.
The OTTY Original Luxury Hybrid Mattress is a solid choice for anyone seeking a durable, supportive bed that promotes restful sleep without overheating.
