The Hypnos Premier Mattress is a standout for its thoughtful construction. It uses pocket springs that adapt to your body, providing support where you need it most. These springs work independently, so if you share your bed, you won’t feel your partner tossing and turning.
The mattress is layered with British wool, which helps regulate temperature, keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter. This natural filling also wicks away moisture, creating a fresher sleep environment. The hand-tufted finish adds durability, ensuring the mattress holds its shape over time.
It’s a two-sided design, so you can flip it regularly to extend its lifespan, though this does mean a bit of effort for rotation.
What sets this mattress apart is its balance of comfort and support. It’s available in different firmness levels, making it versatile for side, back, or front sleepers. The medium-firm option seems to be a favourite, with customers noting it suits couples with different preferences.
The pillow-top version adds an extra layer of softness, though some find it retains heat on warmer nights. Hypnos’s commitment to eco-friendly materials shines through, with sustainable fibres and a carbon-neutral manufacturing process. It’s no surprise this brand has a Royal Warrant, supplying beds to the British Royal Family.
Customer reviews paint a vivid picture. Many praise the mattress for its comfort, with one user saying they fall asleep almost instantly, a rare treat compared to their old bed. Another highlighted how it eased back pain, waking them up refreshed.
However, some mention challenges with the weekly turning recommended for the first few months, especially for those with limited strength.
A few noted initial firmness or slight sagging after a couple of years, but most feel the quality justifies the investment. Trustpilot reviews give Hypnos a strong four-star rating from thousands of customers, reflecting broad satisfaction.
The Hypnos Premier Mattress is ideal for anyone seeking a durable, comfortable bed with a touch of luxury. Its natural materials and clever design promote restful sleep, while the brand’s green credentials add peace of mind.
Whether you’re upgrading your sleep setup or replacing a worn-out mattress, this one’s built to deliver night after night.
