The Tegan Bed Frame delivers a considered balance of form and function through its distinctive headboard and solid construction. Crafted primarily from pine with MDF elements and plywood slats, the design draws on mid-century influences without excess ornamentation. The headboard features clean, angled lines that create visual interest while maintaining an understated profile suitable for various interior schemes.
Dimensions remain consistent in height across sizes, with the single measuring 99 centimetres wide and 198 centimetres long, the double extending to 146 centimetres wide, and the king reaching 159 centimetres wide by 209 centimetres long. This uniformity in height simplifies coordination with existing bedside furniture and allows straightforward integration into rooms of differing proportions. The frame accommodates standard mattresses and provides a stable platform for rest.

Storage forms a central benefit. The elevated structure offers ample space beneath for boxes, seasonal bedding or luggage, helping to maintain order in bedrooms where floor area is at a premium. Such capacity proves particularly useful in smaller properties or shared living spaces where additional storage solutions add genuine value. The sprung slatted base enhances this practicality by promoting airflow around the mattress, reducing moisture build-up and supporting even weight distribution for improved comfort over time.
Assembly requires standard flat-pack processes, with components designed for secure fitting. The wooden frame delivers durability without unnecessary weight, making repositioning feasible when required. Finishes in modern oak tones complement both light and darker room palettes, allowing the piece to sit comfortably alongside existing wardrobes, chests or flooring.
Feedback rates well with a good number of reviews, highlighting the frame’s straightforward construction and visual appeal. Users note the headboard’s character and the overall solidity once assembled. The Tegan avoids trends that date quickly, focusing instead on elements that endure through daily use.
Its versatility extends to guest rooms or main bedrooms alike. The design neither dominates nor recedes, providing a reliable foundation that pairs with layered textiles or simple linens. By combining storage efficiency, supportive base construction and restrained styling, the Tegan Bed Frame addresses common requirements in contemporary homes where space and simplicity carry equal weight.
